Passion: To promote access and quality TVET training for Kenyan population and especially the marginalized. Coast Institute of Technology has positioned itself to realize the n attainment of vision 2030. The college is impacting positively in quality education. Way back in 1981 it was purposely created as a fully-fledged government-owned technical institution to meet the demand of quality education and training in Technical, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training (TVET). Given that it is situated in the main tourist circuit in the country, the institute picked up well with courses in Hospitality, Tourism and Business Studies among others. Our academic performance over years has been excellent leading to annual increase in enrollment. Our graduants have not disappointed either in the industry with some vetted with standing ovation in tourism industry, banking sector, human resource just to name a few. With our modern conference and restaurant facility we are privileged to host seminars and workshops in the coastal region for county governments, institutions and organized groups to a capacity of 300 participants. We also actively participate in corporate social responsibility. Our practices are anchored in the international standards and thus we are ISO 9001:2015 certified. Finally, we consistently implement our activities through an elaborate strategic plan. This has enabled us to attain milestones as we move to the next level.
